First, the facts and the objective. Then, the legal strategy.
Law is a tool for protecting the client’s interests. The work therefore begins with reconstructing the factual circumstances and the evidentiary record. From there, realistic scenarios, their respective risks, and the procedural strategy are identified. Where a case requires expert examination, attorney requests, obtaining evidence, or challenging the actions of a public authority, those tools should form part of a single strategy rather than a collection of formal documents.
